Attendance of 610. Pretty good at short notice, I'd think that's about 100 on what it would've been at Wellingborough and probably 250 on Kempston.
With the summer holidays ending, more advertising and perhaps a few home Cup ties, I'd like to think 8-900 is possible.
Winning 2-0 btw.

I think holidays did it. There were a few people on Twitter saying they couldn't make it due to holidays, me included. I think it will be up towards 800 in a few weeks time before settling around 650-700 during the winter monthsBob's Bitch wrote: Sat Aug 12, 2017 3:11 pm Attendance of 610. 610 in attendance in a division that only one other team, Hayes 260, had more than 200. Our travelling army is going to be most welcome wherever they roam.
Good "Job done" performance. Impressive performances from Fairlamb and Curtis. Not much bother for our back four or Heath.

On the pitch job done, Hanwell wont be the worst team we play this season. this team looks like its got lots of potential and can only get better as season goes on, hopefully both wingers and Nabs can stay injury free.
Same off the pitch, the club will get stronger as the season goes on, i think towards end of season we may break the 1k barrier.

Not sure if many noticed, but heath got his hand to the hanwell effort in the second half that crashed the crossbar. Good solid home performance and a welcoming three points.sussexdiamond wrote: Sat Aug 12, 2017 5:12 pm 610 in attendance in a division that only one other team, Hayes 260, had more than 200. Good start to the season today.
Good save by Heath to tip that shot onto the bar. If it had gone in we won't see many better goals this season at Hayden Road.
Impressed by Curtis today - in fact all our midfield were solid, Fairlamb will be a real handful against most defences. Brown looked at home at CB. Not sure why we got the penalty although 2 - 0 was a fair reflection on the game.
Well done to everyone for getting the ground done so quickly.

It was a good solid start with a few glimpses of better to come. Lots of effort all over the pitch which will see us win more games than not.
There is work to be done though as I thought we held back a little and there were too many uncontested headers.
A good start though, nice to see a good crowd and with Max in the seats.

Curtis did win the header and the guy clattered into him. It was a foul but you rarely get those in the box
