Opening fixture

Post by mikerd »

Already looking forward to the footy season starting, looking forward to fixtures coming out.

Be interesting to find out who we get in the opening game of the season. (In the Southern Central/East league) or whatever you want to call it, good to be back in league.

I'm going to make a guess for opening game of the season, Ashford Town (Middlesex) at home. Going to guess how many points we'll get. 91 points.

On another note, I'm glad that Goole got more points than Histon, to get the reprieve, wonder what would have happened if Histon got more points than Goole.

Anyone know what would have happened.

Odds for this season, where do you get it from? Odds for the start of the season has previously been up.

May not be such a daft call, given Bedford & Rovers hadn't been in the same league since Noah was a boy till last season and the fixtures secretary ignored all Bank Holidays and opted for pairing them up on a Tuesday night in August & another Tuesday 10 days before Christmas, the latter attracting a massive a crowd in excess of 200.

Wow, clearly Bedford like Northampton is now regarded as an 'egg chasers' home!
