Well done boys. Under the pressure of a final day shoot-out and with Basford winning 6-0 they delivered. Big turnout for the last game at the D&D as well. See you all Tuesday!
A good performance from everyone. No squeaky bum time.A fitting finale for our last game at the D & D.
Roll on Tuesday, but it will be a completely different game and all will need to concentrate for the full 90 minutes.
Congratulations to the lads - in what was our first season in this very tough and competitive league, sealing a play-off place is a very decent achievement.
Nice way to sign off from the Dog & Duck with a 5-1 win, shame we couldn't keep a clean sheet though.
Carlton Town were poor, although they had a better second half performance. Even if they did have a plonker with a trumpet and let off a smoke bomb that made everyone in the ground jump!

Wtf was that all about? Might not have been so bad if he could have played the bloody Thing!
Chuffed that we could send the Dog & Duck off in style with an excellent display. Play like we did in the first half against Witton on Tuesday and we have every chance. Yes it was only Carlton and yes they were poor but we passed the ball well and played good football. Isn't it funny that we can pull 10 points from 4 games when we desperately need it? It's coincided with a much better atmosphere and tonnes of vocal backing for the team.
Tonight we should all raise a glass to whoever was responsible for Basford's 3-point deduction. Cheers!
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....
Not really sure what to make of today on reflection. Carlton very poor first-half - Lorraine in the right place three times for a hat-trick.
Second half they improved, not sure if we took our foot off - understandable if so under the circumstances. Crowd good and really got behind the team. Loved the song for Taylor.
Their trumpeter made us smile ..... give him his due, he seemed to enjoy it but seemed to run out of breath in the second half. Not sure about the smoke bomb though if that's what it was.
Can we overcome Witton .... let's hope so. Remember Royston last year.
