A good comeback by Northwich tonight from 0-2 to draw 2-2. So we must not take them lightly.
There are no "top of the table" fixtures this Saturday for the top eight, but a few tricky fixtures. It is highly unlikely that all eight will get maximum points.
Basford v Belper
Gresley v Lincoln
Leek v Stamford
Newcastle v Rugby
Shaw Lane v Bedworth
Stocksbridge v Spalding
Witton v Chasetown
Great result, the boost to the goal difference may be equally as important as the 3 points. Spalding lost but Witton, Newcastle, Basford, Leek and Lincoln won. Roll onto Tuesday, every game is massive now!

So only Spalding lost. All the play off contenders around us won. Looking good for Witton now.
Strange old league. How can Belper go from beating Shaw Lane 3-1 to losing 7-1 at Basford? Perhaps another team that doesn't like a 3G surface.
At least we didn't any lose any ground this afternoon and a shame we didn't get double figures but it wasn't for the lack of trying and good performances were witnessed from Ollie and Jack to give them confidence. Nabil could have reached his 25 goal target for the season today.
Let's hope we can now kick on and get 3 points at Chasetown on Tuesday evening who ran Witton close this afternoon.
