Re: Another signing
Explains why Gary Mills was at the game on Tuesday night.
Thought he may have been taking a look at some of our players, but obviously was finalizing the Jamie Tank deal with Peaksy.

Re: Another signing
Now can we sign someone who will accept the numerous chances that go to waste please. How about David Kolodynski at Rugby or an unloved Aaron O Connor at K*ttering.

Re: Another signing
I'd love to think he'd jump at the chance to join us, possibility we could see him next season.sussexdiamond wrote:Now can we sign someone who will accept the numerous chances that go to waste please. How about David Kolodynski at Rugby or an unloved Aaron O Connor at K*ttering.

Re: Another signing
As much as I would love to see a player of O'Connor's class playing for us I would very much doubt that even if he did want to play for us that we could afford him

Re: Another signing
To think we could afford anywhere near £600 a week for a player is ridiculous! Let K*ttering pay silly money for 'has beens'.
Yes, next season I'd like to see us challenging for the SL D1C. Hopefully, Royston and Farnborough will go up this year. Barton Rovers and Kempston are throwing a few quid about but I think we'll win that league next year.
I notice Danny Watson had left kempston to join Barton Rovers, paving the way for Jake's move to to Kempston. Watson wanted silly money to join us so god knows what Barton are paying him!
On the subject of Barton Rovers, their other striker partnering ex diamonds Michael Malcom, up top looks very promising. Connor Calcutt, worth keeping an eye one!
Back on topic, I heard our new signing was unavailable yesterday due to the fact he can't play on artificial surfaces due to his previous acl injury.
God knows how that will go down considering we train on. 3G surface.
