I presume they'll get a huge points deduction for going into admin?

Re: Northwich Victoria
Obviously they are now rock bottom in the league table after their points deduction and the 'smart money' is on them not finishing the season as the proposed takeover by fans (only 2 of them actually) hasn't materialised.
Now our other contenders have played and beaten the Vics whilst have yet to play them which is still some weeks away.
Some teams will therefore lose points, if Vic's fold, whilst at the present we won't.

Re: Northwich Victoria
If they folded today and their record expunged it would hit Newcastle the worst.
Newcastle have had two wins........................lose 6 points
Spalding 1 win lose 3
Leek 1 win lose 3
Basford two draws lose 2
Shaw Lane 1 draw lose 1
Witton 1 draw lose 1
AFC R & D not played lose nothing!!
And we are not scheduled to play them until 11th March

From the NLM Forum:-
"The latest article in The NLP has said a saviour has failed to materialise. Even though there was supposed to be someone interested, but he failed to turn up & meet officials last week. The club has stated that it only wants to keep the club alive & are thinking about nothing else."
That doesn't sound too promising for the Vics.
