That could quite easily have gone the other way. We played quite well in patches and certainly created a bucketload of chances which was a vast improvement on previous games. Ultimately individual errors have cost us again and we've lost a very winnable match.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....
Nothing really lost given the defeats by Newcastle and Leek but nothing gained and in effect one of our games in hand has now gone. Win our last game in hand and we go 3rd.
I thought we put in a really decent performance today. It reminded me of our other away league defeat when we could easily have got all three points but left with none. I thought the defensive performance was pretty decent, with the Roms second goal down to an error by a midfielder, and their third looking a rather lucky effort after they broke when we'd tried so hard to keep the ball in play near their dugouts.
I left far happier than after the victory over Rugby - indeed we performed better than in the majority of the drawn games at the D&D. We were lucky to get all three points at Bedworth, so I suppose today balanced that out somewhat.
