Roger Bettles
Roger Bettles
Sadly Roger died this morning following his brave battle against cancer. Roger was a lifelong supporter of both the old Diamonds and AFC. Some of you who may not know him by name, will probably been served by him in the clubhouse before AFC matches. despite his cancer, operations and chem, Roger was still attending homes games when he could up until a couple of weeks before Xmas. My sypathys and thoughts go out to Roger's family. RIP, Roger

Re: Roger Bettles
Good lord, I had no idea he was even ill! Always had a laugh when we worked on the bar together, and he obviously loved the club. Thoughts for him and his family at what I'm sure is a pretty awful time. RIP.

Re: Roger Bettles
Really sad to read this news. Roger never said no to anything asked of him Diamonds wise.
Re: Roger Bettles
Sad news indeed, a lovely Gent who was a true Diamond, will remember him fondly, and my thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP Roger.
