Last night's league game was
Lincoln UTD 0-6 Shaw Lane. That must have took some doing.

Re: Shaw lane
I listened to 5 or 10 minutes of the Northern League podcast this week and they were talking to Jon Dunham. They all concluded that the title race would be between Diamonds, Witton and Shaw Lane. I don't seriously see how we can be considered in the same bracket as Shaw Lane when they're producing results like this on an almost weekly basis.
Having seen them twice, I can understand why they're well placed in the league but don't think they're good enough to be beating teams like Lincoln 6-0 away from home.

Re: Shaw lane
From reports on last night it sounds like one of those odd games when at 2-0 starting the 2nd half they were comfortable but not dominant, however every time they attacked during a 12 min spell mid 2nd half they scored, it happens just not as much as we would like for us. Though as you say they are doing it to teams with some regularity.BartonRaz wrote:I listened to 5 or 10 minutes of the Northern League podcast this week and they were talking to Jon Dunham. Bizarrely having seen them twice, I can understand why they're well placed in the league but don't think they're good enough to be beating teams like Lincoln 6-0 away from home.
