Shaw lane
Guess this answers it all. http://www.redimps.co.uk/news/article/2 ... 60616.aspx
Looks like they have been kicked out the trophy. Be interesting to see what that effect has on them. Had some very impressive wins in the Trophy. We go there next week.

Re: Shaw lane
So if Nantwich and Lincoln draw on Tuesday the replay will be next week and our match at Lincoln will be postponed.
Re: Shaw lane
More than 1 Lincoln and you may have possibly got them mixed up.sussexdiamond wrote:So if Nantwich and Lincoln draw on Tuesday the replay will be next week and our match at Lincoln will be postponed.

Re: Shaw lane
Shaw Lane have appealed against the decision to expel them from the Trophy and the appeal is listed for today. Tonights match between Nantwich and Lincoln CITY has been postponed.
Their appeal is on the grounds that the player involved, Alexander Byrne, was registered by his former club Northwich as Alex Byrne and with a different date of birth. Shaw Lane registered him with correct details. The "Northwich Byrne" accumulated two bookings and the "Shaw Lane Byrne" three. The player thought he had only had one yellow at Northwich.
It only came to light when Shaw Lane informed the FA that they had the same player listed twice so rather than thanking them for pointing out the anomaly they then promptly charged SLA with playing a suspended player and expelled them from the Trophy.
