The usual question arises for this fixture. How seriously do we take it.? Who do we play.? Who gets rested.?

I would expect all of yesterdays subs to get a start. Heath, Wilson, Leslie, Newman and Curtis plus Ben Ford.
Which probably means most of the current back four will have to play. So just a couple of places up for grabs and the bench a mixture of youngsters and regulars.

Not certain but think these game go straight to penalties if level after 90 mins. Maybe someone can confirm?

Corby manager Gary Mills will probably see this as a challenge and want to put one over us, and am sure Robbie Parsons will want to silence some of his detractors, if he plays. And the Rugby keeper who played against us is now with Corby. They also have James Jepson and Connor Kennedy.

With nearly half the Premier division clubs already out of this competition it is quite open and does represent a chance of progressing to the later rounds. The key is " Do we want to? "

It is straight to penalties - http://www.evostikleague.co.uk/integro-league-cup-25146

It's the sort of competition that will end up costing us money, with expenses / wages likely to exceed gate revenues - so an early exit won't cause too many concerns.

Interest from Premier clubs in this competition must be minimal as many have already been knocked out, only 8 have so far gone through to next round. If we beat Corby then the most Premier teams will be 12.

From Div 1 N nine are through with a possible 2 more and from the South 10 are through with a possible 2 more.

5 ties are yet to be decided.

As the draw is "heavily regionalized" if we beat Corby we are likely to play Rugby. The other possibles are Lincoln, Spalding or Grantham.

Spot on with that prediction. Another evening in Rugby awaits the winners of Tuesdays game.
