It looks like Peaksy will continue to have selection challenges assuming Richard Bunting isn't available after his setback on Tuesday evening. Its not clear if Lewis Leslie will be ready (or even Joe Curtis), so who will partner Brad? If he wants to move Kyal McNulty there he'll have to replace him at right back (which I think is his best position), and it looks like Ash Deeney will be out for a while. One wonders if he might try Jack Ashton as a full back - but both him and Sam Brown would be better on the left. Perhaps if Rory wasnt suspended he might have been tried there.

I imagine Lorraine will fill the void left by Bunting (assuming he's not fit to play), with Lewis Wilson getting his first start alongside Shariff.

There's also an option to bring in aiden Bradshaw at right back, although peaksy doesn't seem to play him unless needed.

Good character to come back twice but certainly two points dropped against a bang average team. Some poor performances out there and very shaky defensively at times surely it's time for Ashton to be back in the team. Disappointed Wilson didn't start up front with sharif they have the potential to be a deadly partnership. Evangelinos man of the match for me today.

To be fair to Peaksy, Wilson is cup tied next week so he'll have to play Jake upfront with Tom in the middle. Jake desperately needs minutes on the pitch.

But defo 2 points dropped

A touch harsh to call Basford average, I thought they were a decent outfit.

Another good offensive display by us, one which should have brought us another win. Evangelinos was outstanding and at the heart of every good move. Clear MOM for me, though Brown and Harris had excellent games too.

That's the 2nd home game on the spin we've been getting caught out with the ball over the top. It's an easy out ball for teams coming to the D&D and playing on the counter. I don't have an issue with either player individually but I don't honestly think we can get away with having Lee, Dolman and McNulty in the back 4 at the same time as none of them posess the pace to recover from those situations. We got lucky on a couple of occasions today. I actually think Dolman had a poor game which must be a first.

All in all i''m content with the result against a team i'm fairly sure will be there or thereabouts.

It was a choice of watching this game or shopping. I wish I had gone shopping. They were the much better side and we were pretty average. I wasn't convinced that we have the best players in the right positions, but, they are all capable of playing at this level, we just seem to give in easily. A poor day, and a point gained from a game we looked like losing.
I hope the choice of watching or shopping isn't presented next time.

Only the 2nd home game I've been to this season but have to agree evangelinos was mom for me, closely followed by Lorraine. Probably should of started with Lewis Wilson instead of Newman. I think overall we were the better team and deserved the win. Their 2 goals came from mistakes at the back and I think we'll look more solid with Jack Ashton at the back. Good to see Joe Curtis on the bench though! 2 tough league games after the Coalville game!

i think yesterday showed again that this is a much much more competitive league than the southern league.

We'd have taken 7 points from the last 3 games if you had given that to us beforehand.3 very different games, one was a battling performance when down to 10 men, the other was clinical finishing with both teams going at it, and yesterday was probably the first couple of defensive errors in 3 games and they were clinical in punishing us(they weren't sat in the play off positions for no reason!). All of this despite an injury crisis in centre midfield. I would have said we have shown great character recently.

7 points every three games would do us nicely for the rest of the season in my opinion.
