Re: All Time Diamonds XI: Goalkeeper

I'd agree that we've struggled with keepers since we reached the Conference level, with the two obvious candidates that WWODB has included being dominant. Now, if we had a poll for the worst Diamonds keeper that would need a very long shortlist indeed - Michael Bertocchi, Lee Worgan, Steve Corry, Al...

Re: All Time Diamonds XI: Goalkeeper

Shouldn't it read "Jamie Ashdown had a cup winners medal". ;) ;) I think this is the "easy" category to create a shortlist (although I'm not sure how Dale Roberts gets into a list of the three best keepers we've had, ahead of Mark Smith or others with league experience) - I don't...

Re: Well when we do get back to the league...

The tricky thing about rearranging games in the next month is not only the chance of them being postponed again due to the weather, but also the fact we are still in the Trophy. The week between the Hayes and Grays game is reserved for a possible Trophy replay - and of course if we do beat Workingto...

Re: Well when we do get back to the league...

I'll echo all of that Dave. It was one thing to field a few fringe players in the Setanta Shield, but we should put out the best XI possible in the Trophy. A good run in that is more likely to bring the fans back to Nene Park for a semi-final than winning those consecutive FA Cup and league games ha...

Re: Aynsley McDonald

He looks a real prospect - as does Nabil. I hope to see them both get into the first team squad for next season.

It looks like Banbury might need him too, having lost 5-1 to Brackley today (with ex-Diamond Owen Story getting one of the Brackley goals).

Re: Transfer Window

Rumour has it that Torquay are looking to get rid of Tim Sills. Never liked the bloke, but he has a good record at this level, and might be available on a free, although he might be headed to AFC Wimbledon to meet up with former boss Terry Brown. Sills is one of a number of players who've looked go...

Re: Over to YOU...

It would be worth trying again the Wikipedia link again - the old URL seemed to kick up all kind of security warnings if you had certain security tools installed, so that might have encouraged the removal of the old link.

Re: KHFC thread

I thought Tommo was subbed before he was sent off - he'd had at least one final warning by then.
