This was always going to be one of the hardest fixtures in the diary, regardless of our absentees, so no shame in losing. It has to be said that even though we are currently still in touching distance of the playoffs, one has to expect that Anstey will win most of their games in hand and eventually create something of a gap between 5th and 6th. I loved to hear the ambitions of Harriman & our squad to make the playoffs this year, however it seems we are probably just a little bit short at this current moment. They’re doing great though, and I had us to finish 9th before the season started, so bang on the money currently. Should set us up for a good season next year if we carry on like this.
*They’ve already proved me wrong several times, including this season, so if we did make the playoffs I wouldn’t be that surprised either. They really are doing a great job.*

Considering how awful the last couple of seasons have been its such an incredible achievement to even be talking about play offs. We really got lucky with Harriman and I hope his reign is a long and prosperous one
