K*ttering Town Sold

So K*ttering have finally been sold off. According to the Gov website, their new owner Nadim George Akhtar is now the majority shareholder of the club. He is an ex non-league footballer, coach for Luton academy, and runs a company which provides footballing opportunities for kids. So not quite a Hollywood takeover but he does seem to have a lot of experience in football.

Interestingly, the management company that owns their assets is still owned by Ritchie Jeune, although I presume the new owner will purchase that soon enough surely.

I would just say one thing though, their fans seem to think it’s amazing news…I would say that they they are going to be very hard pressed to have found any new owner who has as much success with them as Ritchie did. Time will tell.

This could be an interesting watch, cant see he has much cash to splash and being academy coach could see him stuff the squad with academy players and think they will romp the League.
The other scenerio is that as an Coach he thinks he can run the team and appoint himself Manager now that would be a laugh :joy:

You could ask that of almost any owner of a football club

Well if he's anything like Rafi Razzak, former owner of Basingstoke Town.... buy the club, spend nothing on it for 20 years, then hoodwink club supporters into selling their shares, evict the club from the ground and attempt to redevelop it for housing.

Sounds like a plan.

This does on the face look a strange one and I’m struggling to understand the excitement of the K**ering faithful other then it takes very little to excite them.
Whilst the work he does in football coaching within the community should be applauded and he’s won a National award, more for the diversity side I think, looking at the Companies House accounts he certainly does not look like a rich investor type in fact provisions are noted for outstanding debts to another business and I saw somewhere an article about a major funding assistance from the local council to the vast sum of £2,000.00🤦‍♂️ so it’s difficult to figure out who gains what from this deal, that aside I’m sure we are all wishing the same for their future 😉

Hotter Than A Hoochie Coochie – Alan Jackson Inspired Tee

Some shirts make a statement before you say a word. The Hotter Than A Hoochie Coochie Tee by LionKingShirt does exactly that. Inspired by country music and packed with Southern personality, this tee brings together humor, vintage style, and a nod to one of Alan Jackson’s most iconic songs. Whether you're a lifelong country fan or just love clever fashion, this shirt is all about fun, comfort, and character.

1. Alan Jackson and the Song That Started It All

If you’ve ever spent time near the water on a hot summer day, you’ve probably heard the song “Chattahoochee” by Alan Jackson. Released in 1993, it quickly became a true country classic — and one line in particular stood out: “It gets hotter than a hoochie coochie.”

Turn up the sass with Southern heat

That one lyric turned into a catchphrase. It made people laugh, raised eyebrows, and became a fun way to talk about Southern heat. Today, that same line lives on through the Hotter Than A Hoochie Coochie Tee — a shirt that captures the spirit of the song and the warmth of Southern life.

What Does “Hoochie Coochie” Really Mean?

The term “hoochie coochie” goes back to the late 1800s. It was used to describe a lively, playful dance that was a bit bold for the time. Over the years, it became a Southern way to describe anything hot or wild — like the weather, a moment, or someone’s style.

Alan Jackson used it cleverly in his song, and it instantly connected with fans. It was funny, familiar, and full of charm.

From Southern Lyrics to Everyday Style

Decades later, people still quote that line. Now, it’s more than just a lyric — it’s fashion. The shirt brings that line off the radio and into your everyday wardrobe. It’s an easy way to show your love for country music with a grin.

2. How One Song Shaped Southern Style and Culture

Country music doesn’t just live on playlists. It shows up in the way people talk, act, and dress. Songs like Chattahoochee help shape a lifestyle that’s relaxed, honest, and full of personality.

That’s what this tee represents — not just a funny phrase, but a connection to something bigger.

Wearing Your Roots with Confidence

Southern style is all about comfort, rusticity, and a little bit of edginess. And this t-shirt embodies that perfectly. It’s soft, breathable, and feels like a favorite you’ve had for years — even on the first wear.

Why This Tee Still Works Today

Here’s why the Hotter Than A Hoochie Coochie Shirt keeps winning hearts:

I'd agree with this, he'll try and do it via an academy rather than the "beneficial owner" route I should imagine. It's not their ground so getting hold of that would be difficult.
NP is up for sale around £4million but that has It's issues as we know.
