Seen the news about Shanks retiring and leaving at the end of the season. A massive shame but wish him the absolute best. Hopefully we can give him a send off like the club legend he is deserves!
I'll put the Twitter thread here - for those that don't do FB.

He will be a massive miss, I really hope we can find someone to join the coaching team who knows the local football scene and has contacts to complement the excellent Harriman

Surely he deserves a testimonial match?
A shame he’s decided not to stay on the coaching team, but ultimately he’s the definition of a club legend.

A testimonial would be a nice touch, or a collection at a game next season?

Great idea. Testimonial pre season. Afc legends v current team. Could be another great fund raiser.???

I’m stating the blatantly obvious, but I’d say let Tom Decide who is in his all time XI, I’m sure he’s played with some great players that haven’t featured for AFCRD, I’d I suspect most of his choices would be players from his AFCRD days though, with possibly 3 or 4 others from other clubs.
