Due to higher than expected ticket sales following a recent rush, and being concerned about the potential for having to shut the gates on hundreds of people, we've had no option but to make the Legends game on Sunday all-ticket.

Tickets can be purchased using the link above. At the time of writing, there are 220 left.

If you know of someone who was planning to chance it on the day, please let them know. Likewise if you know of a Diamonds fan who doesn't have internet access, please check on them and purchase a ticket for them if necessary.

We've obviously been promoting ticket sales for months but have had a late rush which has caught us a bit off-guard, so apologies for the late decision to make it all-ticket but it can't really be helped at this point.

What can fans on this forum do to help keep the experience as smooth as possible for those who aren't as used to coming to Hayden Rd?

In guessing turn up a bit earlier than usual (remember it's 2pm kick off)

and consider walking, or parking further away from the ground than usual.

Exactly that. Park as far away as possible would be a big one really because those that aren't familiar with Hayden Road are likely to descend upon it.

PLEASE - All Diamonds fans on this forum reading this, please make sure you are in the ground by 1:30pm. Player introductions will commence around that time, one by one and I wouldn't want any loyal AFC R&D fans to miss out.

Some communication will be put out in due course around timings, bar access etc over the next 48hrs.

Fantastic achievement, let’s hope this encourages those who were unaware of AFC R&D to attend first team games, would be fantastic if we could get 1,000+ at the first home game.

A massive achievement, well done to all those involved in arranging this. I personally believe this ranks right up there with the biggest achievements of new and old club. A bold statement but to pull this together with a new board in challenging circumstances and breathing life back into the club (and hopefully building awareness of AFC to lots of old fans) I think it’s warranted. Hopefully we have lots of fixture lists etc to hand out to everyone who attends tomorrow and we can see the benefits into the attendances of our league games. Well done all.
