Making up 10 points on Bedford may be a step too far but certainly avoiding the wooden spoon is possible. We have two games against top five opposition, two against mid table and two in relegation zone. Peaksy must be getting jittery!

A fully deserved result, and fantastic performance all round. Just a shame there wasn’t more there to see it.

A brilliant result last night & all credit to Chris, his team and the lads. We were speaking to Basford chairman & his entourage who asked how we are in the league position we are in? Clearly they were impressed with our play & weren’t expecting it.

After last night's result I actually believe for the first time this season, that we can win a games. Although basford were pretty poor and appear to be in freefall, we played some of our best football of the season and given the fact Nunn was forced into seven changes from Saturday's decent point, it has to go down as the highlight of the season. A real solid leaders performance from Harriman at centre back, is one position we'd been crying out for all campaign. There was also a few decent performance from players, that may swing in their favour on whether Nunn is going to retain them for next season. Was pleased for snedker that it wasn't all about his performance that secured points last night, also the most cleanest his kit has been at the end of a match as well!
