Match Off [ Tue 14th Mar ] v Rushall Olympic, KO 7:45pm SLPDC HOME
Re: [ Tue 14th Mar ] v Rushall Olympic, KO 7:45pm SLPDC HOME
With the exception of Snedker the ever changing line up this season has been like an extended pre season, apart from the players have names other than Trialist X.
In a way I feel sorry for Chris Nunn, he has got a group of players to motivate and hasn't got anything like a last push to get into the play-offs or one last push to survive to offer as an incentive, he can't really say go out there and do it for the fans because the players haven't been here long enough to have seen us at our best. League allocation may even hamper chances to retain certain players so having an eye on next season isn't straight forward.
All that plus trying to keep the fans on side and enthusiastic for the future can't be easy, the fans expectations here are probably more than they were at Newmarket, Biggleswade and Kempston so it's slightly new territory for him too.
Taking that into account, hoping for wins seems a bit unrealistic so for the remainder of the season I'm just going to hope the players have good games.

- Play it out from the back.
- 1 up front.
- Man gets one good result via a new manager bounce and thinks he's Pep Guardiola.

If we lose this game and next week against Redditch our relegation could be confirmed by this time next week. It only needs Needham and Kings Langley to win one more game.

I know what you mean, but our relegation was confirmed weeks ago!!
The rest of the season is about saving face and pi$$ing on the parade of a few clubs who will see us as a pushover! Just want a couple of goals/wins to celebrate! That’s all!
That’s not me having a go at Chris or the lads, that’s the reality of the situation and has been since we’ve been hamstrung by what Burge did to us.
We’re down, but that doesn’t mean I want to see us roll over every week!
Would love to take some points or even 1 on Tuesday!
