Player of the month awards??

Post by AFCRD_Dan »

Thought I’d post this here rather than the members forum, as it will get more of a response.

The above hasn’t been updated since January 2020, granted it would probably be difficult to choose a player of the month this season. Maybe something to revive for next season?

Apart from Snedker it would be impossible to vote for anyone else.

He hasn’t played the last 2 games.

Snedker more than likely will be our player of the season again.

My vote goes to our new goalkeeper - in just 3 games he's done more to keep us entertained!!!

I remember reading years ago that a relegated team scrapped their end of season awards, we should do the same as it's going to be an unnecessary embarrassment for the players.

It won't even be morale boosting as for the squad as we will probably only have 3 or 4 of them here next season, we have improved defensively but we don't know if the rare few shining lights will want to drop a level or if other clubs have got their eyes on them.
  • Play it out from the back.
  • 1 up front.
  • Man gets one good result via a new manager bounce and thinks he's Pep Guardiola.

tied would probably agree with this. Looks like ngwa will finish top scorer (with 4 goals I beleive) and he'll be long gone by then
