Another point closer to the goal of the playoffs. 4 points from 2 away games is great at this stage of the season. Jesse was immense tonight. Connor quality again.Really unlucky not to have 1 of the 2 late chances hit the net. Highly frustrating that we still cannot beat Biggleswade during our tenure at step 3 tho. Starting to become our bogey team me thinks.

Much has been said this season about Sneds and from everyone Iโve spoken to heโs been superb, however save of the night has to go to John Gregory who almost said โIโm here with Diamonds manager Andy Peaksโ only to finger tip it around the post after the P and somehow get Burgess out. Great recovery save John

I'm not necessarily disappointed with the result or performance given the players that were missing and the number of walking wounded we had out there, but I do think if we make the formation change at HT we win that game.
It was quite clear by HT that we could have played for a month of Sunday's and not created more than half a chance. I've listened to Burgess' post-match interview and he's said he didn't think we had the players last night to play 4-4-2. I think we could have attempted it with what we had available, personally. It wouldn't have been ideal, you'd probably only have had 1 square peg in 1 round hole, but it was doable.
A great end to the game and I was convinced we would win it. How Bully's chance stayed out I'll never know, but without Snedker we've left Biggleswade with nothing. The subs made a big impact - AJ showed Burge a glimpse of what he's really capable of probably for the first time since Peaks left, and Will Jones looked more purposeful and direct in that 25 minute cameo than he has in a long time. Hopefully he can keep that up because I imagine he'll play more often over the next 6+ games.

I see this as another point gained, 8 from 5 games required and that is assuming Alvechurch don't drop any points. If Bush was carrying such a bad injury just how unfit are Lauric and Jordan Graham.? How on earth could Snellus be preferred over Jones.? In Burgess defence he is much more open with his post match comments than Peaksy. FBT sorely missed last night. .
