Disappointing but understandable. Wonder when Banburys scout will looks elsewhere….

Not really. Maybe I’m reading too much into it is he having a slight dig at AFC R&D with his comment on the Banbury website?
“I’m happy to get the deal done. Seeing the style of football that’s encouraged here and the direction that the club is moving in it was an easy decision for me. I want to help this club in getting promoted and the work starts now”

Great signing for Banbury, managed to get themselves a league 2 calibre player on the books!!! 
Not really disappointed to be honest. Concerned that there's a lack of depth in that area of the pitch. Dias comes in as a straight swap and does a good enough job, but we'll need some grit in there as a backup.
After both of his post match interviews he had a right sulk on, but for a player operating at a supposed 3 steps below his ability he never once grabbed hold of a game and dictated the play. Massive lack of commitment and if he wants to jump ship this quickly then good riddance!!

We've had a fair few players over the years that have dropped down a few levels to join the club, only to disappoint and depart. Many were in the latter days of their careers (Alun Armstrong / Adrian Littlejohn / Gary Crosby etc), so it's quite unusual to find a player at this stage of his career who leaves so abruptly.
