We have signed Jay Williams (x northampton) from K*ttering according to southern league page??

If true, and I assume it is, then it's a superb signing. Like Snedker, should be playing a level higher.

Can't see him sitting on the bench for us though so who misses out? Perhaps Collard's injury is a longer term one.

AP has stated that we have an abundance of centre halves and it says that Jay can play in midfield so maybe strengthening that as well. Did he play against us at the D & D?

Not from K*ttering that was a couple of years ago when he was on loan. He recently signed for Harrogate Town in League 2 and played full 90 minutes against promoted Cambridge United in their 5-4 victory on the 30th April. He also trialled again for the Cobblers in pre season playing against Stamford Town. Great signing for us given his league experience at a young age and it presents a real opportunity for him to kick on again with us and then possibly secure higher football with another club in the future. I guess he was recommended to us by Jon Brady.
