One more day to go for the trip to Witton Albion on Saturday!

And if you can't make it to Witton, but want some live football entertainment, then why not head up to Hayden Road - football on in Bar before and after match, and see R&HUFC take on top of the table Anstey Nomads.

Also Jon Dunham talks to Ben Farrell ahead of this game, see his article here:

That was so bad even Ernie Tippett wouldn’t have found any positives.

Well that was our last chance to salvage some sort of success from this season after our abysmal FA Cup performance but we failed again. Poor tactics again, no creativity in the middle 3 yet we took 75 minutes to make any sort of tactical change... again. Once we went 2-0 down the game was over and now we are left with a mediocre league campaign with no cup success. Ben Diamond is not a winger and is clearly ineffective there yet we've stuck him there for months now with no real gain from it. Not really sure what Hicks and Farrell are there to do but to me they just roam around the pitch and not do a great deal to impact the play, offensively and defensively. Think 1 or 2 more signings are desperately needed although we should be looking 6 points over the next 2 home games without a doubt.

Absolutely fuming totally devoid of ideas yet again the three up front doesn't work just trying to fit players in for the sake of it. It's time we toughened up and actually drop players who really aren't good enough. I don't care if we have a small budget peaksy can't seem to get the best out of what we've got and the only time I ever hear him is to berate the referee it's becoming embarrassing. I've always said were reactive not proactive something needs to change and soon because we can't keep accepting these inept performances

In all seriousness that was the most gutless, inept and tactically clueless display from us in recent memory, against a team playing without a recognised striker for almost the entire second half. Even those that we can usually rely on to put a shift in looked half-arsed today. There was literally no positive aspect to anything.

However, a few weeks ago we'd just thrashed Needham Market, drawn away at King's Lynn (and should have won), and played Coalville off the park with this team and I think that's worth remembering before we all go in to meltdown.

Having said that, seeing players go out the door without being replaced, having a bench full of 17/18 year olds as a result of that (as we did today) and persisting with playing players out of position, you do start to wonder whether the lack of expectation this season is fostering a bit of complacency.
