Won 13-1 today v Merthyr. there must be a story behind that one! Sounds like when R & D won 9-0 at Weymouth.

Moneyfields game two more sent off today.....but they were Hanwell players.
I heard today that Moneyfields have received 9 red cards already this season but they are not the worst as Marlow have received 10.
Makes our guys seem like Angels.. no reds yet this season.

That's more a credit to our defenders than anything else. They're not mindless idiots like some we see at this level.

Merthyr's keeper was 15. He let in 13 but was named MOTM!

It was their development side who fulfilled the fixture - similar situation to Weymouth v RDFC a few seasons ago.

It seems as if there has been financial mis-management and a meeting with the owners at this fan run club has been arranged this Monday. A sad state of affairs. :hmmm:

It transpires that this is over an unpaid tax bill. They've set up a JustGiving page, currently at £13,735:

The latter article makes very interesting reading for all football fans who support a club run by a supporters' trust. It highlights the importance of good communication between the board members, and between the board and the club members - not just having the appropriate number of meetings, but passing on details of any challenges to finances in good time.
