I’m not expecting anything from this match other than defeat tbh !! I reckon they will come with a strong side and we’ll struggle to cope with them - horrid club, but a good team this year!
That said, we’ve nothing to lose really and I hope the lads go out and play as we know they can because on their day we’re more than a match for anyone!
3 points on Saturday and 11 players fit is far more important to me though! Even against them!

I would always be disappointed if we lose, but of the two games against Kettrin (I am assuming they beat Daventry) I would prefer us to win the Hillier Cup match as that gives us a Final at Sixfields, whereas if we are honest we are very unlikely to get to the final of the League Cup.
However should we win tonight (aet and pens?) I reckon we will be drawn v Biggleswade.

I also hope we avoid any disciplinary issues. These low-benefit cup competitions can impact on league issues, especially at this time of the season as players approach the 5-yellow stage - as we saw in the UCL Cup game against Whitworths a few seasons back, which had such an impact on a subsequent league game at Thurnby.

I thought you guys were being a bit pessimistic. Were they likely to be as good as Alfreton? No. In which case I was confident we'd give them a good game. As it turned out we did more than that and were good value for it.
I have no idea if that was K*ttering's first team so I'll assume it wasn't. They had some decent attacking players but defensively they were all at sea.
All the lads deserve credit but special praise for the two wingers Fairlamb and Gyasi, also for Ben Diamond who didn't put a foot wrong all game and worked extremely hard. He must surely have played his way in to contention for Saturday and looks a real find.
