With Thame winning yesterday they will be very keen to get their home programme off to a winning start. Promoted teams usually do well, as they have a winning mentality, so we will have to be at our very best.

No changes expected although I would prefer Sam in his proper left back position. I thought at times Sam and Bully got in each others way.

Really looking forward to this, decent facility and looks like the weather will brighten up as the day goes on as well.

I'd assume peaksy will go for the same 11 as Saturday. When predicting peaksy line up- I thought Punter may have got the nod over Ford, but credit where it's due, I thought Fordy had a good game as of course did Ben Heath, who was probably the other major selection head ache.

Any updates on Bunts' fitness? Did Dillon take a knock?

tough game this, without stating the obvious another 3 points would be a great start heading into the FA Cup fixture.

I would start Lorraine, nothing against Dillon but don't think hes up to speed yet. I would also be tempted to put Sam Brown at left back as his throws are another weapon.

Is anyone able to give a fellow supporter a lift from Higham please? If you can help, please let me know asap and I'll put both in touch.

That was one of the most competent and confident performances I've seen from a Diamonds team in a very long time. There was an absolute chasm between the two teams and I certainly wasn't expecting that against a newly promoted side. Nabil took both of his goals excellently and the two wide players have made such a massive difference to the way we play.

The only negative I guess was what looked like a hamstring injury to Fairlamb who'd been extremely influential and had been putting some fantastic balls in to the box. I hope it's nothing serious as I'm not convinced we have any sort of strength in depth in wide areas.

Agree with all above, a very professional performance which could have resulted in an even bigger score-line. Haven't compared the Thame team last night to last season but would assume they must have lost a few as that didn't look like a side that would win a Step 5 league, a raffle possibly. We maybe sat a little deep on occasions but that's nit picking given only 2 games into the season. Hope all is ok with Luke as wouldn't want him missing for to long, he did pull up very quick so hopefully not to much damage done. Ball-T looked useful when he came on, first time I've seen him.

Some strange results last night and a very good win for our Bank Holiday opponents Kempston beating Dunstable 1-0, I did fancy both Kempston and Bedford to be up there come April though looking at the reports from their first 2 games they look to be in a private battle as to who can be in games accumulating the most Yellow and Red cards.

Barton Raz and Brownie pretty well summed up last night
Considering Thame were unbeaten at home last season and had a player (Goss) who scored 53 goals they were quite disappointing. The programme made no mention of players departing, just how they had strengthened the squad.

Only 5 teams with 100% record and we are top of the League.!!!

Will Peaks give starts to those who have been subs in the first two games v Welly?(they won 3-0 last night v Sileby)
