Includes two from the Northern League, but not North Shields who are currently topping the table.

If we do not get promoted then Peterborough Sports should be placed in the Northern League and us returned to the Southern, but it could depend on where our "home" is located!.

At the moment there is the likelihood of three northern teams being relegated from the National League, maybe even all four, that would cascade down in our favour.........assuming one favours the Southern League!!

But league allocations have many factors to consider so I wont be putting any money on it just yet.

I do feel that many problems have been caused by a traditional reluctance of Northern Clubs not taking the opportunity of promotion to Step 4, Morpeth last season following that trend.
Obviously South Shields, now that they've returned to their original ground and enjoying fantastic attendances as a result, have shown their desire to progress and this will help to regulate the situation for those clubs, like us sitting on that west to east line from Rugby to Cambridge which seems to divide Step 4 from North to South.
A 'Midland League' for Step 4 would be the ideal scenario but that seems a long way off.
