"Twinkletoestomlin" on the "former players" thread has said that Nic has played his last game for us!!
He and Nabil have by far been our best forward players this season. We would certainly miss him.
Anyone know anything about this.?
If it is the case then hopefully he could at least play at Loughborough so we can show our appreciation to him and present him with his POTM award (if he pipped Nabil).

Having spoken to his Father at recent games it may well be correct that Nic sadly may be moving on due to work, though as no official announcement so far perhaps (hopefully) it's not yet.

At first I didn't think much of him - in pre-season I thought he tried too often to get past his opponent and fail, was too greedy and didn't pass enough. From then, however, I think he's grown into a fine fine player that would get into just about any team at this level - the stats don't lie. 4 goals and 15 assists (an assist every 132 minutes) before the end of November is a great tally - last season our top assisters got 8 over the whole season (slightly skewed by Sam Brown's travelling). If he does leave, he'll be sorely missed and I'm not sure we currently have any players in our squad that will be anywhere near as effective in that wide position.

The only players we've had who've done a job previously in that position have been Hoban and declan Rogers. Fazel Koriya and Matt Gearing did well there when called upon, I wonder if any of those players would be open to a return

Tooting & Mitcham in the Ryman League Div One South. I don't know exactly where he's moved to for work purposes but that's not round the corner from here, so we can probably write that one off.
Did anyone know that Nic Evangelinos had a trial at Fleetwood Town in the summer?
