No complacency please guys - treat this one as if we're playing Shaw Lane! You only have to look at Sunderland yesterday to see a side bottom of the table can bounce back - everyone responds to playing us, so stay focused and make sure of the points.

Shaw Lane put these guys to the sword yesterday - it'd be nice to do the same, but a 0-1 will do just as well.

Think I'll be in my thermals for sure!

Surely it can't be as cold as Saturday at Stocksbridge?

A win would put us in to the play off zone if Chasetown fail to beat Carlton.

(Basford have only 23 pts not 26 as some tables show. They have been deducted 3 pts. for playing ineligible player.)

If he appears on Tuesday it will be Richard Bunting's 100 appearance for the club. He's battled various injuries to get to this point (and served a few suspensions), so should get a special cheer from the travelling fans.

It will be interesting to see who lines up in defence tonight. Rory Winters is starting his two match ban, and neither Sam Brown or Jason Lee were fit at the weekend. Add to that the fact that Liam Dolman limped off at the end of the game on Saturday.

According to Peaksy in the NT interview with JD he's expecting to have either Sam or Jason back available tonight, though if Bully has a problem he may need both, did Bully leave the pitch with both legs still attached? if so he's most likely ok and fit to play.

Would you like a small wager on that?

Just got back from 4 mile walk and it was not too bad at all, but standing or sitting still for 2 hours may be a little different.

Decent ground to visit - just didn't seem to click for us although losing both central defenders didn't help. Can't understand why he didn't bring Sam Brown on.

Disappointing to see their time wasting - bottom of the league, no home points and it seemed they were happy at times to settle for a draw. I thought they would have tried to bombard our makeshift defence and push for a win.

Decent ref for the most part.

11 games unbeaten though, can't complain!

In hindsight Peaksy's comments in the AFCRDTV Stocksbridge post-match interview were interesting with reference to the game last night. He said the players had had a collective chat about the need to do a professional job against Rugby. He then reiterated those comments in an ET article with Jon Dunham. It's almost like he knew what was coming!

Can't hide from the fact that it was a really awful result against a team that had taken 5 points from their opening 15 games prior to yesterday, none of which were won at home. The circumstances weren't at all great given we had two key players going off during the course of the 90 minutes, but we did have a fully functioning attacking line-up that struggled badly to create meaningful chances. I'd like to see Lewis Leslie start on Saturday if he's fit and available as the balance looked a lot better in central midfield when he came on, prior to that we appeared to be struggling in that area.

On a positive note, by the time we next play a league game I think we will have gone 3 months without a league defeat which is great going. Fingers crossed we're able to bounce back on Saturday and get back to winning ways.
