After two fantastic results we, the fans, need to come down to earth again. This is going to be another tough assignment. SPS may have lost to Leek last night but Leek are on a good run of form just like us.
I thought before last night that 5points from the 3 away games would be a good return but now will be hoping for at least 7.

We should travel with confidence today, Stocksbridge's home record is w3 d1 l2, whilst on the road we have won 3 and lost just to Newcastle.
Overall their goal difference is 18 for and 19 against -1, so there are goals to be got and I think the front two we have can do a job today.
I'm predicting a 1-2 win! It'll be a tough game, but on Tuesday I saw so much belief and commitment that I truly believe we can march on to the fringes of the play off spots today.
If we can pull off a win, and another on Tuesday we'll be looking good and can go into the Trophy game with real confidence!
Good time to be a Diamond, I'm really enjoying this League!

Diamonds lead 1 0 at half time.
Nabil Shariff penalty after Wilson upended. Mr perfect from the spot this season.
Sounds an even game with Stocksbridge firing in plenty of long range efforts saved well by Ben Heath and one off the bar and Wilson and Evangelinos close for Diamonds.
All that from a hotel bar in Cyprus following twitter. Radio Diamonds second half hopefully. Drown the sorrows of another Wolves disaster!!

Crikey. You're 5 minutes late tuning in for second half and 2 goals!! Fortunately 1 each so Diamonds still lead 2 1.
Evangelinos header makes it 2 0...then penalty to Stocksbridge that Jack Ashton not happy with. Biggins just beats Heath so back to one goal lead.
That woke me up!!

2 2. Good finish apparently. Mix of hanging on and breaking with purpose. Great listening to Chris and Doug. Plenty of description of the action with real passion....love it...

Big win that today! Really starting to show our credentials now! Roll on Tuesday, time to stay focused and not take Rugby for granted - a win there will really have us in the mix.
Shaw Lane winning 4-0, but Witton losing 2-0 at the moment - getting interesting !
