Trail 1 0 at half time. Header from corner on 42 after series of long throws and cones built pressure. Harsh on Diamonds who had played most game in Spalding half creating a few good chances but Spalding good on sporadic breaks and created that late pressure to get the goal.

Ben Heath debut for Finlay and Sam Brown out in warm up due to foother problem.

What an awesome comeback. 1-0 down with 10 men, Spalding pressing heavily for a second, goalkeeper making his debut and no recognised full-backs, we somehow win 2-1 against a team who would've gone top with a win.

A landmark victory for the lads - there's something about playing at Spalding!

Fantastic character and belief from the lads to fight back in that situation and win. Really impressed with the keeper who was my man of the match surely he stays in the team even if Finlay is back next game? We looked a much better side with Newman and Wilson on how they sit on the bench and Lorraine continues to start is beyond belief in my opinion.

Great result particularly coming back from a 1-0 deficit and going down to 10 men after 74 minutes. This shows the great spirit in our squad. Stockbridge Steels lost at home to Leek tonight so confident we can get something out of that match this Saturday.

Onwards and upwards!
