Some of you will remember Claire Stancliffe, who was instrumental in setting up our first ladies team a few years ago and an integral part of the team that won the double.

Claire is nominated for Sky Sports Sportswoman of the Month for July after she captained the GB Deaf team to a World Cup bronze medal.

Unlike the teams we will see magnificently representing TeamGB in Rio the Deaf team are fully self funded and Claire is a major fund raiser for the squad. allowing herself and the other ladies to travel and represent GB.

Now 52%, so keep voting and let's hope she wins because the publicity she will get might mean that the powers that be give the team permanent funding to compete in their international tournaments without them relying on private donations.
