We don't just need a win from this one, we also need a performance. This is the perfect opportunity to make this happen. Let's forget the previous run and get behind the lads!

Win first, worry about the performance after. Totally with you on getting behind the lads.

I 100% agree with you, we need a performance from the lads and bag the 3 points.
Come on Diamonds.

Today's team selection will be interesting. If Tom Lorraine is unfit that will be a big blow, as he was our best player by a long way in the one half of good football we've played in the past 2 months - the first half on Tuesday.
Quite why Dan Quigley has warmed the bench for 90 mins in the last two games is a mystery, given we've been crying out for a creative midfielder, and none of the recent signings seem to be the answer. I was beginning to wonder if Tom Lorraine might have to be the answer there, especially if either Shariff or Liversedge are now ready to play up front.
Surely Shawn Richards must start on the right, given how much of the right wing role was left to Lorraine on Tuesday, and with no full-back support Claudio is struggling, but a brave decision to try EL-J back in the side doesn't look an option as he hasn't been in the Cogenhoe side in recent weeks.
Our two centre backs had their worst game for a good while, but I think we need to stick with them, even if Jason Lee would contribute more to the side in his more normal role.
Apparently Elliot Sandy has more to give with the ball at his feet, so perhaps he will show us more of his abilities to create chances for himself or team-mates today, as we desperately need to get the creative threat through the middle back in the side.
Up until recently we had an excellent record against the teams in the bottom half of the table, but the reverses against Potters Bar, Uxbridge and Arlesey in the past few weeks show we will need a big improvement to get the vital win today.

Pretty poor game to be honest, Hall didn't play well and Claudio kept giving the ball away as normal. Parsons needs to bulk up a bit, got muscled off of every ball. Hope Sandy's injury isn't too bad!

It was crap, it was boring, it was toothless, but it's 3 points and at this stage of the season everything else is secondary.
A nice bonus that results today went well for us. 3 points on Tuesday should probably do it I reckon.
