AFC Rushden & Diamonds are holding another of their popular Race Nights on Friday April 15th 2016 to raise funds for the club.

The first race is at 7:45pm, and the event is being held at Rushden Town Bowls Club, 144 Northampton Road, Rushden NN10 6AN.

Tickets for the event are £2, and you can pay on the door!

Whether you can attend the event or not, you can also sponsor one of the 8 races for £20, or an individual horse for £2.50.

Please contact Glenis on 07870 332606 or one of the fundraising team at a forthcoming game to sponsor a race – or a horse.

The fundraising team will also be circulating the ground at home games if you would like more information or to sponsor a horse.

Bets on the night will be 50p/per horse.

There will be the normal raffle.

Your support for this event will be much appreciated so that we can raise more funds for the Club.

I am looking for sponsors for the races. If you are interested could you please contact me asap (07870 332606) as I need to get the Race Card completed by the 11th April. It would be great if every race had a sponsor. Maybe you could get several of your friends to contribute so lowering the cost.
The Race Night is a lot of fun and hopefully with your support we should be able to raise at least £500 if not more so I am asking you to please support this last but one fundraising event of the Season. I know it may be difficult for some of you to attend our Fundraising events but it has been very disheartening this Season with the attendances we have had at events. So I am asking you to please help us. We all know money doesn't grow on trees but a lot of hard work is put in by so many people to keep this Club of ours going. I have asked before if you or anyone you know would like to join the Fundraising Team. You are more than welcome to and also if you have any new ideas for ways in which we can raise money we are always willing to listen to them. Also I am planning to do the Waendal Walk on either Saturday May 14th or Sunday May 15th to raise funds for the Club and am hoping that some of you will be able to join me. There are several watering holes along the way so again it can be very enjoyable. Again just call me as it can be lonely if I have to do it on my own. Hoping to hear from you.
