He's good, back at football and getting on with life, still got to take it a bit easy, but getting there - I can't say he's back to normal because he was never that :cheesy:

I see that K*ttering have a match at Redditch on Monday 18th April, just 2 days before the Final

We've got what might be a vital game for our promotion chances just a few days after this game - against Godalming who are in good form, so we might need to rest some of our first XI at Sixfields.

What a ridiculous notion.

Regardless of whether it's a mickey mouse cup or not, K*ttering are still our biggest rivals and I would be ashamed if there was the merest thought of turning up half-arsed with a sub-standard side.

If there was a poll as to whether it's more
Important for a meaningless cup or the chance of promotion I'm pretty sure the latter would top the results. If there is a solid chance of finishing 2nd or 3rd then so be it, but sitting in 5th going into the last remaining games?? Whe risk injury/suspension??

I'm not bothered about this game, cup final or not. Seems likely that both us and K*ttering will have important fixtures before and after this fixture, so I can see two weakened lineups. Playoffs > Meaningless Cup IMO.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

Although it pains me to say it (or even contemplate losing to them) the league is the most important thing!

That said, if we don't pick up some form soon it'll be immaterial !

I'm not sure what the rules say about fielding a weakened side, but it's been done before so I guess its not a problem. Mind you, with so many ex-plops in our side now most of the 1st team will be cup tied anyway
