Tommy Berwick has just announced on Twitter that he's left the club because of 'personal issues'.

I don't think anyone is surprised by this, shame, but probably for the best, I wish him well wherever he ends up!

His tweet for those that don't have it:

Decent player who we only got to see glimpses of his best. Was a key inclusion to last seasons winning side and where as his goal tally won't be as high as he would of liked, his work rate and team play was second to none. Good luck to the lad

That's sad to here Berwick go, because he's a great player.

I wish him all the best in the future.

Wonder if Tommy had any issues before he was left out last weekend? A frustrating player to watch imo.. Although I wish him well no doubt he will sign for one of the promotion candidates in our league.. St Ives??

I hope that comment was meant tongue in cheek. We should respect his decision, thank him for his efforts over the past 12 months and wish him well during his current problems and for the future.

When the news first came through last week I thought "Oh no, not another Aaron King". So really pleased to know that his reasons are genuine and he has no problem with the club or management.

Peaks probably knew about this for some time, hence getting in Stevo and Nabil.
