Is anyone driving down from Rushden on boxing day? I'd quite like to get away from all the mince pies for a few hours but can't get down on my own.

According to the twitter feed the A421 is closed both ways between Marston and Marsh Leys.

This would affect anyone coming to the match from the M1 / Milton Keynes area and therefore I would suggest everyone ignores getting off at Junction 13 of the M1 and use either Junction 12 or 14.

Wouldn't go 12 as never a good run back up through Flitwick & Ampthill, 14 is an easy run, though would recommend anyone coming from Northampton use 428 or Wellingborough/Rushden A6.
Worth keeping an eye on the A421 situation as may reopen, had been closed for investigation work after tragic fatal accident last night.

Very sad news, a man and a small child died in the accident, a woman airlifted to hospital with severe injuries !!

I see that Bedford have made a couple of loan signings in the last few days, a 19 year old youngster from Crystal Palace and an experienced striker with league experience from Welling United. I wonder if they'll play today?

2-1 Diamonds final score, nice to get back to winning ways again! Chalfont however came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at home to Ware

3 points but what a poor poor performance. Until the own goal we had absolutely zero goal threat, missed bunting today as I thought the centre midfield was none existent although Harris was left out to dry with Leslie thinking he was playing up front at times.
