After yesterdays result we can take nothing for granted despite their lowly position
Yesterday v Uxbridge was their first home point since august 22nd. Home record P8 W0 D2 L6 F9 A 28.
A first home win against " Rushden and Diamonds" would be a massive boost for them, so we must get back to our pre Barwell form asap.
They have recently appointed a new manager and he has been busy with new signings and reading their forum it would appear the new boys have made a difference.
Don't expect a big crowd, their past 5 games have attracted less than 500 fans.
I know its midweek but it is not too far (50 miles) so lets get some decent support down there and cheer the lads back to winning ways and start another long unbeaten run.

Looking forward to this one, less than 4 miles from where I was born and where my mum still lives, AUFC were the side I watched as a boy and when I lived in Aylesbury, I saw them compete in the Conference for one season and lived in Turner Close, a 10 minute walk to their old ground in Buckingham Road - their demise over the past years has been sad to see!
We have got to show what we're made of now - we've lost our first match, now we need to show we can bounce back - I hope yesterday hurt everyone and they will show how much by a top performance !!
We're losing Liam for three vital games, so hopefully we can pick up maximum points in the matches between now and when his ban begins - time to show we have some balls I reckon!! That's what Champions do !!

Looking at the weather, it don't look as if it will be a dry evening!! wonder if the game will need a possible pitch inspection? Without a coach going can't see a decent attendance to be honest

Looking at BBC Weather for Aylesbury area shows light rain at 15.00 but heavy shower at 16.00 and again at 18.00.
I was planning to leave early afternoon and do some shopping in MK, but will now wait for decision at 4pm.

Tonight's line up 17-Finlay,2-Wilkinson,3-Brown,4-Gordon,5-Dolman, 6-Harris,7-Hall, 8-Bunting, 9-Lorraine,10-Berwick,11-Hoban
Tonight's subs 12-Quigley, 13-Vitue,14-Pinder, 15-Ackroyd, 16-De Costa
Quigley on the bench, hopefully he's fit for Saturday - we saw how much we miss him when he's not playing in the second half on Saturday.

Number 16 Da Costa, is a new signing. Same player we signed two season's ago who never played. Aylesbury United have just had their keeper sent off for a foul on Berwick
