Egham don't do draws so should be a pretty open game.
Currently only 4 points separate the top 10.
Probably get a clearer picture of just how good we are when we start playing some of those away games.
If no injury problems expect the same starting eleven as last week, although Charlie Butt did his cause some good last night. He certainly has improved when going forward but his principal role is as a defender, so Wilko just has the edge.

Tough game, lets win it, to go TOTL.
2-1 Diamonds.
2-1 Diamonds.

With some rain forecast in the next couple of days, as well as the news of the Remembrance Day commemoration / Stacey sorting out the Poppies on the shirts again, I'm reminded of the corresponding weekend last season...
Let's hope for a similarly memorable game, for all the right reasons.
(Thanks to Mal for braving that weather to get pics like this).

Great, Ollie Wilkinson at CB then?"Peaks revealed defender Delroy Gordon is a fitness concern for this weekend due to an ankle injury."

Would rather have Brad Harris at CB than Ollie given his performances recently then have Butt on at RB.UttoDiamond wrote:http://www.northantstelegraph.co.uk/spo ... -1-7050567

I would certainly prefer Brad to play at centre back rather than Ollie, but I think Ollie is our best right back.
I'm sure the management are working on it, but we urgently need to bring in another defender.

Or get Jack Ashton back playing ASAP, and we can all play a part in that!Sid wrote:I would certainly prefer Brad to play at centre back rather than Ollie, but I think Ollie is our best right back.

But, that is still going to be in the long term, we need a quality defender now, not next season.BartonRaz wrote:Or get Jack Ashton back playing ASAP, and we can all play a part in that!Sid wrote:I would certainly prefer Brad to play at centre back rather than Ollie, but I think Ollie is our best right back.

That'll take a while though, I presume he's getting a full ACL reconstruction and usually players are out for 6 months with those injuries plus rehab.BartonRaz wrote:Or get Jack Ashton back playing ASAP, and we can all play a part in that!Sid wrote:I would certainly prefer Brad to play at centre back rather than Ollie, but I think Ollie is our best right back.

I'd rather have another right back than Wilkinson, he's been given a fair crack of the whip and hasn't been up to standard IMO.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.
