It's not a farce at all, complete mountain out of a mole hill.

Although Power was a Director at RDFC under Cousins' tenure it always appeared to me to be a 'low profile appointment'. As the guy says in that article he clearly has a fair bit of knowledge of the playing and management side of the game.
