All the best to the lads today, here's hoping for another 3 points, and should the lads get that result, and Fleet get the right result at Aylesbury then it could be a very happy evening on the summit :D

Equaliser for Tommy Berwick. From yet another Sam Brown long throw. Sam must lead the most assists record for this season.

Ist min of second half 2-1 ELJ from yet another Sam long throw.!!!

84 mins 3-1 Scott Joseph

Aylesbury also leading 3-1 so we wont go top today, but should be a good game in two weeks at the D & D

Aylesbury 3-3 Fleet Town FT, which means (assuming we hang on our own 3-1 lead) we're going top of the league :D

Wow they must have been late goals. We are top of the league. Say we are top of the league and unbeaten in 28 a new club record.

Just how good are we compared to others in this League? Today we only had to put in a performance of about 60% to beat the opposition - not our greatest performance but in truth it was never in doubt.

To see Aylesbury FC relinquish top spot by throwing away a 2 goal lead against a side on the bottom third of the table does make me wonder if we're not the real deal? In reality we should be top with 21 points !!! I'd anticipated us being around 8th in the table at this stage, slowly growing into the league and improving, but we've bossed it do far !! Not as dominating a performance as Monday, but never once did I lose the faith and think we'd drop points today !!

Delighted with where we are and sooo proud of the boys !! :)

Whilst we deserved our win after taking advantage of the slope in the second half, I thought we were lucky to be level at the break. NGU must have had a dozen attempts on goal in the first half, but fortunately lacked the sort of finish we saw for our three goals. Dan Quigley had another good game, but was just shaded for MoM by Tommy Berwick IMO. The referee deserves a special mention for keeping his whistle in his pocket and letting the game flow.

It wasn't the biggest of crowds, but we did at least boost it past our record low away attendance at Boston.

Now we've broken the unbeaten run record we'll have to keep focus if we are to extend it in the FA Cup game next weekend.

Credit must go to all those who contributed to the unbeaten run - not forgetting Peaksy and his crew. Perhaps the strength of character of the team during the run is best demonstrated when you look at the three draws that were part of it last season - Holbeach (A), Wisbech (H) and Cogenhoe (H) - and how the team didn't give up until the final whistle in order to snatch the draw.

I agree with everything you said there T, we'd commented on the ref as well - but anyone can kick the ball in the general direction of the oppositions goal - none were on target or serious chances.

We'll have some really tough games ahead - but I've got great confidence in the squad - others around us can carry on beating each other ;)

Only unbeaten side in our league and one of two unbeaten sides in the whole of the southern leagues - a monumental start for a newly promoted start !!
