Should we get through then we play either Bedfont & Feltham or AFC Hayes, away in the 1stQR.

There is some good money to be had in this years competition.
Pre Lim Round winners £1925
Ist Qual winners £3000
2nd Qual winners £4500
3rd Qual winners £7500
4th Qual winners £12500

Equalling our best ever run would net us almost £9425. I am sure the Chairman would be well pleased with that.

Yes, last season was poor compared with the FAC and FAV revenue received in season 2013/14.

Indeed, obviously most managers will be in the standard mindset of the league is our top priority and I don't disagree with them. But when you're a non-league club of our size, I think you have to put everything you've got into the FA tournaments, particularly the Cup, the financial gain from a good cup run is too good to ignore unless you're a PL club with £millions in income from TV money, I bet Daventry made a fair bit from their Cup run last year. So personally I'm hoping we make sure to treat every game in the FA Cup like it's a cup final.

I do love being a supporter of a non-league club in the Cup, the dream that we'll have an amazing run and get drawn against a big club, or have another exciting away day out like Dover is always there every year and it will be again this year until we're knocked out.

8 more wins and I can look forward to a nice 3rd Round tie against the likes of Arsenal ;)

I love the FA Cup - always have!

I was listening to the radio earlier and there was a short discussion about the FAC games this weekend and a suggestion had been aired by (I think it was) the Chairman of Crawley Town suggesting winning clubs at the weekend donating £500 of their prize money to a fund set up for the families of the two young footballers killed in the air show crash tragedy. Anyone else hear this?

It was actually Shoreham FC and Horely Town who agreed to do this.
