Interesting quote.
David Cardoza wrote:"It's been the worst 12 months of my life, and as the chairman and owner of the club I've had to take the brunt of everything that's happening.
Suggests that maybe he's getting out asap after their stadium fiasco. When I read Indian consortium I did immediately think 'Japanese investors'. :D

There seemed to be real financial problems on that East Stand Development so not really surprised he's looking to cut his losses.

Had a chat with our resident Indian broker in the office this morning about Football in India and why they would be interested in a small lower League Football team.

It seems that quite a bit of Money is being invested into Football in India, rich business men and rich Bollywood actors looking to plow money into the I- League. My man feels that it one of the owners of a I- league team looking for a nursery team in the UK, could see young Indian players getting experience via the Football League, maybe sending young British players to Bolster the Indian Team.

Well thats his feelings on the matter, otherwise it may be the potential of the land around Sixfields being the motive, however he feels the I-League link up is the most likely option.

Sounds like Northampton Borough Council are getting very nervous about their £12 million loan to the football club and are seeking answers.

Quick read of their forum suggests that a load of money has gone missing, to the tune of millions. Interesting stuff!

Makes interesting reading doesn't it? First Land Ltd are appointed main contractor by NTFC for £11m development, no track record, one director, £100 share capital and then get paid £7million, owe Buckingham £2m+ for work executed, give Cardoza a 'loan' for £2.65m and then go into administration. You couldn't make it up!

I wonder what guarantees NBC secured when advancing their £12m 'loan'?
