Goals and Points target

As we all know the target now is to win the final game and get 101 points and join the elite 100 Club and to be the first club in recent history to achieve the UCL double.

But did you know we only need two goals against Cogenhoe to reach 300 UCL goals in our 3 seasons.
2012/13 96goals
2013/14 84 goals
2014/15 118 goals to date

total 298 goals

Additionally if we were to score five against Potton we would have 100 goals in all Cup competitions in the past 3 seasons.

Which means if we do score seven in the two remaining games we will have scored 400 goals in that time. A pretty impressive record!.

Sorry to quibble with your statistics but according to the league table on the official site we scored 88 UCL goals in 2013/14 season so we are already on the 302 mark!

Own goals don't count in Sussex.

Sounds as though I've scored one!!

But we do still need 3 goals for a total of 400 in all competitions.

Checked it out and you are correct, as much as it pains me to admit my error!

91 Cup goals scored in 33 games 48 conceded
302 UCL goals scored in 111 games 95 conceded

Totals 393 goals scored 144 games 143 conceded

So lets get those 7 goals in the next two games.

I agree with those figures - only 7 more needed. By the way, I know it was not an official game but just a pre-season friendly, but who was Pinder who scored for us against AFC Wulfrunians? Or was that also an own goal?

Matt Pinder is one of Darren Purse's MAA Academy players.

Thanks BR. So we may be seeing him again in the future. There are certainly some good players coming through from the junior teams.
