Probably most of you could not care less who is going to be relegated or promoted. But here goes anyway.

Relegation from the Prem is straight fight between Sileby and Harborough.
Quite simply if Sileby get a point on Saturday home to Harrowby they are safe as their GD is 22 goals superior to Harborough. They would not want to leave it until the final game as that is home to Wisbech.

Remaining games:
Sileby v Harrowby 18th April
Sileby v Wisbech 25th April
Harborough v Holbeach 25th April

Promotion from First Division
N Spencer already Champions

Again it is a straight race between Rothwell and Potton.
Although Posh Sports currently hold 2nd place they have finished their fixtures and are only 1 point ahead of Rothwell.

2. Posh Sports P38 78pts
3. Rothwell P35 77pts + 54GD
4. Potton P36 76 pts +49GD

Remaining games;
Rothwell v Spencer 18th April
Potton v Thrapston 18th April
Rothwell v irchester 25th April
Potton v S & L Corby 25th April Chance for a hatful of goals.
Rothwell v Lutterworth 28th April

Did Spencer voluntarily demote themselves from the Prem a few years ago because they couldn't sustain themselves, or am I mixing them up with another team?

They did indeed. Our first season (in Div 1) was their first season out of the Prem.

Andy Peaks told me the reason they demoted themselves was at the time of the debate about the possible re-structuring at Step 5 level and they felt they wouldn't be able to cope with the financial consequences of increased travelling. They were a tad premature because as we all know the FA didn't go through with the planned re-structuring.

Is there increased traveling from Div 1 to the Prem? More journeys to Lincolnshire?

The FA were going to scrap the UCL weren't they, which would probably have led to more journeys east to places like Gorleston and Great Yarmouth.
