Thurnby's new ground has been passed for next season - http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/thurnbyni ... 06644.html

I wonder if it was the same UCL ground grading team that passed Manor Fields before we played Buckingham Town in 2012....

Amazing what you can achieve with a large tray of sandwiches and cake. ;)

I am assuming this is not the dump we went to.
Do they have a proper new ground with separate toilets and catering facilities and a stand that actually has seats and concrete flooring..

They have another ground though "nice new" would not be an accurate description, they also have an on going battle between 2 Clubs who don`t always see eye to eye, but then after what we experienced there i`m sure "not getting on" is a fully understandable situation. I do believe the chip cooking facilities at the other ground are not like at present, in the gents toilet and the main stand is indeed in the same County as the pitch, so improvements are there for all to see.
Still not a problem for us anymore as in 5 games time we will never have to visit either of their collective s##t holes.

They've carried out work at Hamilton Park Leicester and will ground share with Highfield Rangers next season. It's in the north east area of Leicester, about 5 miles from their current ground in Dakyn Road. I bet a name change is on the agenda. They'll probably call the whole club Leicester Nirvana.

Interesting developments regarding Thurnby Nirvana and existing Chairman Pat Darby and his aspirations next season posted on the NLM forum:-

"Goes by the name of Pat Darby. I spoke with him this afternoon at the game v Boston Town (04/04/15). He hopes to start a side in the LSL next season under the Thurnby Rangers name and told me he has a number of good players interested. Also people interested in having a role in the running of the new club. He also hopes to have a Sunday league side. He went on to say he had invested 50K over the years in Thurnby Rangers and he wasn't about to give it all away - fair play. So hopefully football at Dakyn Road next season.
People from the Nirvana side of the current club said they would play under the Thurnby Nirvana name next season with a view to a change the season after."
