remaining fixtures for others

It does seem rather odd that after tomorrow evening Welly only have one game to play, whereas Holbeach and Sileby will still have six to play.

Welly should be well rested by the time they get to play us.

ps It was good to see Jake tweeting wishing us good luck v Wisbech last week. Maybe he is trying to secure a position with us again for next season or maybe he genuinely wants us to do well.

Or maybe he's had a reality check ;)

Give the lad a break, what you have here is a typical case of UCL type football.

He had a good season, tried to make a jump of a few divisions too soon, added to which he joined a struggling team.

He's now back at the correct level for him at the moment and scoring loads of goals in a poor team that's set up for him to be the focal point.

Too many people on here are too quick to criticise. EVERY time a player leaves he gets stick. It irritates the hell out of me.

Just quoting what he said to our players when he left, I wasn't trying to criticism him for leaving in anyway hence the ;) It will be interesting to see where he goes next season, I think he maybe ready for that step up with the amount of goals he's scored this season as you say in a poor team, every team needs a goalscorer so there will be a lot of interest in him, good luck to him except on the 11th

I heard a rumour that he will be signing for a UCL Prem club near Bedford who are planning an assault on the title next year.

I suppose a lot will depend on who takes over from Jolly Joe as Smelly Welly boss.

That narrows it down to any 1 from 1 then. They are intending a serious crack at it next year and to be fair they are not a million miles of where they need to be, other than the 300 missing supporters.

They need to sort out their real ale supplier. Must be the worst pint that I have had in a long time.
