Midweek football fix !!
With us having no midweek game I'm considering who to pop along and watch midweek - anyone else thinking of taking in a game?
Looking at the midweek fixtures I'm thinking Yaxley on Tue or Huntingdon (as we've got them Sat) on Wed. Yaxley v Thurnby looks the most attractive, but running the rule over Huntingdon appeals - undecided of Bedford here !!

Re: Midweek football fix !!
Possibility of some points being dropped this week.
Obviously Yaxley v Thurnby will mean one of those at least. See Thurnby have gone 9 wins in a row.
Defeat for either would end any hopes they may still have.
Wisbech v Deeping. Most likely a home win, but a 10% chance of a draw. Wisbech now 8 straight wins.
Holbeach v Boston....local pride at stake. Can Boston do us a favour? I doubt it.

The Boston manager and the Holbeach manager work together in the same office. Should be interesting round the coffee machine tomorrow!.
I could not possibly imagine some collusion may take place.

Chand is currently having discussions with the Tigers Chairman on 'the way forward' after Drury's departure, since the only reason he got involved again was in a joint managing role because of his outside business commitments. If you recall the current Wisbech manager, Dick Creasey, orginally joined Holbeach last summer to assist Chand but he left after just a couple of weeks.
It will be interesting to see if any of this affects the Tigers forthcoming performances.

I watched Corby Town hammer Weymouth last Wednesday and was very impressed by the Steelmen so have decided to watch them again tomorrow when they play Biggleswade Town at Steel Park.Pigman wrote:..anyone else thinking of taking in a game?

Nope, that was former Wisbitch boss Steve Appleby, not CreaseyTrek wrote:Chand is currently having discussions with the Tigers Chairman on 'the way forward' after Drury's departure, since the only reason he got involved again was in a joint managing role because of his outside business commitments. I'm thinking of heading to Irchester vs Buckingham tomorrow. I've only seen U18 games at Irchester before.
Both have shipped incredible number of goals in last 3 games..... banker 0 0 then...
