Billy Sharp to Bolton Wanderers

Will this happen, is he worth that sort of money? ...........or what is just time before his true value was realised?

I think he is worth that sort of money because he is still young and he has got the potential to make it big.

Considering he cost the Blunts around 2million it's not that much of an escalation.

Im not sure he could do it week in week out in the Premiership although he is a natural goalscorer so i may be wrong.

He's scored for fun wherever he's played apart from at Sheffield Utd so I certainly think he's worth that. Shame we don't get a sell on fee as it was us who made him!

With the amount of money that is being thrown around for some players these days, I'd say £3 mill would actually be a pretty price for Billy.

I could see him being an asset to a lower placed premiership team.

I think it would only be a good move if he was a regular. . . doesn't seem to do well if he doesn't play week in week out like when he was at the blades??

Every time I hear things about Sharp going some place or other for a high price, I have a split second of excitement thinking we stand to profit. Then I remember the truth. :(

when you see some of the journey men strikers that hang around the prem, i'd say he'll do well. 3m is a snip. he'll only need one season scoring ten before xmas and fulham will buy him for 15m
